Question 1

What is Brave Daily?

Brave Daily is a paid daily text service for parents, partners, and loved ones of recruits in boot camp. Brave Daily is operated by QUIZ CORE. Each message gives one calm, plain-English brief about what the recruit is likely experiencing in training and why limited contact is normal.

Question 2

When does my first brief arrive after checkout?

After checkout, your number is queued for activation. Once that finishes, your first daily brief arrives at the standard morning send time. If the recruit ships in the future, daily briefs begin on the ship date you entered. If you have not seen a message within 24 hours of the expected start, email hello@thebravedaily.com and we will look into it.

Question 3

What does a daily brief look like?

Short. A few lines you can read with one hand. Each brief explains the likely training-day context and gives one steady reminder for the family. The goal is to reduce rumor-chasing, not add another app or task list.

Question 4

How accurate is each brief? Is this exactly what my recruit is doing?

Each brief follows the official published training schedule for your recruit's depot - Parris Island, SC, or San Diego, CA - matched to the ship date you enter. It reflects the typical, scheduled day for that point in the cycle, not a live report on your specific recruit. Actual days can shift for weather, holidays, or training adjustments, so treat each brief as informed context, not confirmation. Brave Daily is not affiliated with the Marine Corps and has no access to individual recruit records.

Question 5

What training window does Brave Daily cover?

Brave Daily covers one 13-week training cycle, from ship day through the final training weeks. Signup accepts ship dates up to 90 days in the future or within the active training window so families can start at the right point.

Question 6

Do I need an app?

No. Brave Daily comes through standard SMS. Nothing to install, log into, or update. If your phone gets text messages, you're set.

Question 7

How much does it cost?

$29 one time. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment partner. The price shown at checkout covers the 13-week daily brief service for up to two recipients. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Question 8

How do I stop the daily texts?

Reply STOP to any Brave Daily message. The daily texts will end for that phone number and you will receive a single confirmation from your carrier. You will not get any more messages unless you opt back in.

Question 9

How do I start the texts again after stopping?

Reply START to the same number you were receiving briefs from. If the paid 13-week cycle is still active for that phone number, messages can resume. If you changed phones or cannot find the number, email hello@thebravedaily.com and we will help.

Question 10

Is there a monthly subscription to cancel?

No. Brave Daily is a one-time payment for the 13-week brief service. Replying STOP ends SMS delivery for that number, but there is no monthly Brave Daily subscription to keep canceling afterward.

Question 11

How do I change my phone number?

Email hello@thebravedaily.com with your old number and the new one. Brave Daily supports up to two recipients for a paid cycle.

Question 12

What if I need help?

Two options: reply HELP to any Brave Daily message for a quick automated response with support info, or email hello@thebravedaily.com any time. A real person reads it and gets back to you.

Question 13

Is my information safe?

We store only what is needed to deliver and support the daily briefs: phone numbers, the recruit ship date, depot selection if provided, signup and consent records, recipient confirmation status, and basic payment identifiers from Stripe. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Question 14

Where does Brave Daily content come from?

Brave Daily messages are built around a 13-week training-cycle outline and plain-language family support. Content is informational and general; it is not official military communication, operational advice, legal advice, medical advice, or a substitute for direct guidance from the recruit's chain of command.
